Broadcast journalist - I interviewed athletes and locals ahead of matches/major competitions (Athletic World Championships, Women's Euros) and edited the audio for radio consumption and video for social media.
Was also part of the team that reported on the England Lionesses' first game on home turf after the Euro's win which was nominated for an award.
One particular interview I loved was tracking down Jeanie Allott, who was one of the forgotten Lionesses to the local Stoke region. We discussed playing with Sarina Wiegman, and hitchhiking to get to training and games in the hope to helping her get recognised and finally receive her cap (which she did!).
